Please pray for my nephew Christopher. He has been off his medicine about 7 weeks now & up until now they have not had any trouble with his little heart. My dad listened to his heart today and heard an SVT (when his heart starts beating really fast). They assume because the medicine is out of his system now, which they were afraid this could happen. The medicine had been stabilizing his heartrate this past year. So, back to the cardiologist they go tomorrow. Please keep them in your prayers!
Here is their website for future updates:

Drew is 7 weeks now. He is smiling more, starting to make noises, and is sleeping longer at night. The last few nights he has done two, 4 or 5 hr stretches in between feedings. He is such a sweet little guy!
Avery is a good big sister to her brother. She is already protective over him. She doesn't want any of her friends to touch her baby brother or his car seat. She likes to get in his face and talk to him like I do. Then she'll say, "he's smiling!", "baby Drew loves me!" It's so cute to see the love she already has for him. We have reached a huge milestone, one which I thought would never happen, Avery finally went #2 on the potty yesterday and went again today! She is doing very well with pee peeing on the potty and seems to be 100% potty trained at home. She is still hesitant going while out so we are still working on that.
Philip has transitioned into a small business owner through Ameriprise, which they call going P2 (platform 2). Basically the only difference is he rents office space, pays for his own healthcare, bills, assistant, etc... and works for himself- the best part! We went to see his new office with his new furniture the other day & it looks great... just needs a little women's touch w/some decorating :) We feel very blessed that he has such a wonderful job he loves, and flexibility to work his own days/hours.
I am LOVING being home with my two precious babies. We stay busy getting together with friends, trips to the park, library, playgroup outings, and playing on the swingset in the backyard. Everyone asks me how it is with 2 and I have to say I have really enjoyed it. The hardest part for me has been trying to get out of the house and be somewhere on time. The biggest outing we have done was a trip to the zoo. My friend Stacy helped out with Avery which made feeding Drew there much easier. I look at the two of them and just feel SO blessed.
I can't believe Avery will be turning 3 in just a few months. It really does make me realize how fast these years go by and how fortunate I am to be around for every minute of them.
