These are a few of my favorites. I had a few more but it is taking me forever to download them so thought this was enough to post.

Avery has a secret...

Avery's little brother or sister is expected to arrive on March 27th! We went to the dr. last Friday to hear/see the heartbeat. The heartrate was 158 beats per minute. This is the same as Avery's was at our first doctor's visit... so this makes me think it is a girl but we'll see!!

6 years!

Philip and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary yesterday. I asked Philip if it feels like 6 years to him and he said yes... I guess it kinda does! Philip & I met in high school and after several break ups we both ended up at Texas Tech, got back together & married the semester before we graduated. My parents helped us out some until I graduated and got a job teaching preschool. Our $600 house rent in Lubbock was helpful too. We then moved to Dallas & here we are!
I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He loves Avery and I very much & we are both lucky girls!
We celebrated our 6 years with a trip to Cozumel at the end of May. Saturday some friends of ours watched Avery so we could get a date night to dinner and a movie. That was really nice, something we don't get to do very often!!

Here are some pictures from our trip...

Movie night

We took Avery to see her first movie, Horton Hears A Who, last night at the dollar theater. We picked up some snacks to take with us. When we first walked in it was dark and Avery was a little unsure of this experience. When the movie started she told me the elephant was scary so I told her he was a nice & silly elephant. She then relaxed, started eating, and loved the movie. She would laugh whenever we would laugh & talked throughout the entire movie. We had to keep telling her to whisper. When the movie was over we were walking out and she said, "I had fun, I liked it." This morning she woke up saying, "I had fun at elephant."
The one thing we will do differently next time is not let her eat so many m&m's. She had a sugar crash when we got home and was hysterical.

5:15 a.m

Well Avery woke up at 5:15 this morning screaming like something was the matter. Then I heard her calling "mommy, mommy i get out, i get out, all done, all done." I thought there is no way she is ready to wake up, I'll just let her cry 5 minutes. Well she continued crying so I decided I would go in and lay in her big girl bed with her & go back to sleep. I picked her up & moved her to her big girl bed and told her, it's o.k mommy's here- i love you. She put her hand on my face & whispered "i love you," then laid her head on my chest and put one arm around me - priceless! This made the fact that it was 5 a.m not so bad. About 10 minutes later she looked up and said, "Where's snoopy?" I handed her snoopy and she rolled over and cuddled with him- what about mommy!! I guess I can't take it personally because he is her sleeping buddy.
We laid there for about an hour with her sleeping about 15 minutes during that time and me trying to get comfortable (didn't happen), before she started crawling out of bed saying, "I watch ruf ruf's" (101 dalmations)... so here starts our day! Thank goodness daddy gets home today!

Little dancer

Avery loves to dance. She will dance anytime music is on (and usually wants Snoopy to dance with her- especially for slow dances:). She gets so excited when Sesame Street comes on. This morning she started jumping up and down so I went to get the camera, and this is the part of the dance I was able to get. (sorry it's pretty dark!!)
